Our stars of the day and the SPIN project

Football is -way more than- a game. It adds color to our daily lives. Yet, there are more important things in life; this is why PAOK open their arms for all kids in need of our help
It was quite different, Monday morning (26.10), in the Nea Mesimvria Sports Centre; it was more beautiful and joyful. It was where our team bus brought the real stars of the day. 12 children whose families were forced to abandon their home countries in search of an opportunity for a better life.
Escorted by their parents and those people helping in their temporary (?) transit in Greece, the kids put on the PAOK jersey and…were unleashed on the pitch.
On site, it was Igor Tudor and the players of the Double-Headed Eagle awaiting them to play, to train and offer happy and unforgettable experiences to them.
Besides, PAOK have always been actively supporting refugees by means of ongoing initiatives like this one that was deployed in the context of the S.P.I.N. (Sport, Partnership, Inclusion and Network) European project.
S.P.I.N. enables PAOK to utterly contribute in educating, informing, activating and offering relief to unprivileged children. PAOK FC, being a proud sponsor of AC PAOK participation in S.P.I.N., are searching non-stop for new ways to offer things to those who need it the most.
Just like Danielle, the young Princess and the rest of the kids in Nea Mesimvria stole the show with their impulsive and genuine laughter despite the hardships they go through.
We can make this world a better place, if we all try together…
